Descendants of Harmon and Catherine DePuy

We are researching the ancestors of Harmon DePuy who was born about 1797 we believe in PA. He married Catherine, last name unknown. They had several childern, Jacob A. DePuy born 09-30-1828 in Danville, Montour County, PA. A second son, George W.E. DePuy was born about 1830, location unknown. #3, William D. DePuy was born 09-16-1831 in Waverly, Tioga, County, NY.

Between 1831 and 1840 he moved to Dixon, Lee County, IL. where he continued to live until his death in 1856.

We are unable to discover pre-Illinois information about Harmon or Catherine other than birth information regarding their children.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
