I am researching the DERBER family from Berga, Elster, Germany. Paul Curt Derber (father: Reinhold) came to America from Germany in 1912. He met his wife, Marie SCHLESINGER (first husband: Ernst Ramme), in Milwaukee. Her father was Wilhelm Schlesinger - they were from Zwittau, Mahren, Austria. Also researching Karl LINK (LINCK) family from Blievenstorf, Mecklenberg, Germany. He married Maria Orthmann and they came to the United States around 1840. Other family names for this branch are: SCHEPP, HOLLNAGEL, CLINTON, & PREVOT. My husband's side is SULLIVAN (William) branch, names include ST. GEORGE (Michael - County Kilkenny, Ireland married Julia Kelly about 1840). Also BEAUDIN (Ste. Ratagonde, France) and DUCOMMUN (Louis-Reynold - Switzerland) and GOKEY or GAUTHIER (Joseph) - French Canadian. |
