I am researching the DERSLEY family from Thetford, Norfolk, England. Robert Dersley b 1821 married Mary King, daughter of Thomas King. Robert and Mary had 7 children; Louisa Elizabeth, Robert David, Thomas William, Mary Ann, Eliza, George Henry and Johnny. The family emigrated to South Africa in 1861 and I have a complete Family Tree of the South African Dersley's. In addition I have located the names and addresses of about 50 Dersley's living in England and have just started the task of trying to piece together a Family tree for the British Dersley's. As DERSLEY is not a very common name I believe that any DERSLEY lead will be useful to my research. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
