The DeRemer Family Tree

I began researching my family tree in February 2005, partially out of curiousity and partially in order to defend my brother's claims that we are not, in fact, French. The effort put into finding all of the information was incredibly rewarding and fascinating--being able to find out where we were really from, the original spelling of our name, when we came to America, and where my family has lived in America. I also met some distant relatives during my search and was able to, for the most part, avoid the insane cost and confusion that comes with the current internet genealogy searches available.

I realize that this site is of little consequence to anyone not related to me, but I find it intriguing and hope that it might benefit and other curious DeRemer (or rather, DeRiemer) descendents.
