| I am researching the history of the Desmond (DeSimone) Family from Brooklyn New York. Earliest informnatuon indicates that Daniel Desmond/DeSimone and his wife Mary LaPeoria migrated to America from Italy in the middle of the 19th century. They entered through Delaware.They had three children -Lawrence, Mary and Josie before Mary LaPeoria died. Daniel then remarried Josephine Pino(date & location unknown) and they had three children - John, Sam and Marie.
