I decided to find out all that I could about my Children's ancestors. Though they don't seem to be that interested right now, I'm pretty sure they will be thankful in the years to come. It's been difficult finding information on my Mother's side of the family since the Peskan's didn't start their journey from Romania to America until around 1907. I recieved a tremendous amount of help with the Peskan research from Kim 'Peskan' Maich and Bohdana, both of whom I met through Romanian boards. With reasearch regarding the Carroll's and Hudson's, my cousin, Marshall Carroll, has been of great assistance. Hopefully someone will come across this web page and have new information to help me along. To my Grandfathers and Grandmothers, thank you. And Good luck in your own quest! We believe they are Okolisan's from my Grandmother Vera's side. Peter and Johanna Peskan (27 KB) Peter (son of Mack and Emilia) and Johanna were married in Enschede, Holland on Dec. 14, 1945. They moved to Canada and raised their family. Peter Peskan (14 KB) Born 08 Aug 1923 Passed on to me by his Granddaughter, Kim Peskan Maich.
