Volpi & DeVolpi

VOLPI family in Italy, originating in Como in late 1300s and continued in Bari from 1400s. Direct family line found in Trento in 1700s, and last known living relatives were in vicinity of Trento.

DEVOLPI family in United States and Canada, descended from Bonaventura Paulo Weiss DeVolpi. At least four branches of the DeVolpi family have been traced.

Research is continuing with an intent to publish the results.
