Anna Marie Brazaitis (daughter of Unknown Brazaitis and Unknown)23 was born November 07, 1905 in Marijampole, Lithuania, and died December 13, 1994 in Panama City, Florida. She married Kostanty A. Jalowski on May 21, 1928 in Montreal, Canada, son of Augustin Jalowski and Anna Bagdzevich.

Anna Mary Jalowski (nee Brazaitis) of 19 Morrow Road, Brighton, Massachusetts applied for her US citizenship under Petition number 210581. Her Naturalization Certificate was issued on July 16, 1940.
On her Petition Anna reported that she was born in Mariampole, Lithuania on November 7, 1905. She was a housewife and was married to Kostanty Jalowski on May 21, 1928 in Montreal, Canada. Kostanty was reportedly born in Suwalki, Lithuania on July 20, 1890 and entered the United States in September 1911. He was reportedly naturalized on May 10, 1920 at the US District Court in Boston, Mass. under certificate number 1377704. Anna and Kostanty had two children at the time of her naturalization: Ann J. who was born on November 30, 1930 (actual DOB is November 30, 1933) in Boston and Constance who was born on August 23, 1935. Anna reported that her last foreign residence was Mariampole, Lithuania and that she emigrated to the United States via Montreal, Canada. She entered the US on June 16, 1928 via St. Albans, Vermont under the name Ona Jalowsky. The witnesses to her petition were Blanche M. Jalowski, a housewife, of 61 Louis Prang St., Boston and Walter Dydzak of 102 Nonantum St. Boston, Mass. Anna's Certificate of Arrival has her entering the United States on June 16, 1928 via St. Albans, Vermont.

Anna's daughter Janet (Ann) tells the following story from her mother:

"My mother entered Canada and she was very lonesome so my father and Uncle
Joe and Aunt Madelyn would go to Canada to visit her. On one of their visits
my father married my mother and that's how she came to this country. She had
told me stories of how many of the young girls that came over on the boat
with her wanted to come to America and they would pay people to smuggle them
over the border at night. Some of the girls wanted my mother to go with
them, but she was frightened and wouldn't go. She said several of the girls
were caught coming over the border and they were sent back to Lithuania."
