Mountain, 83 E
Approximately 140 km north-west of Jasper, Alberta, Canada, elevation 2573 m. This mountain was named after the late Honourable Leverett George de Veber, M.D. (1849-1925), a physician and surgeon who served the Royal North West Mounted Police for some years. He was elected the First President of the Southern Alberta Medical Association in 1909. He was part of Premier Rutherford's cabinet and was later appointed to the senate of Canada, 1906-1925.
