Minnie Devine Hayes, aged 69, formerly of this city, passed away in a Columbus hospital about 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening, following a long illness.She was born September 10,1967 at Meadville, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Anna (Dunn) Devine, natives of the Dominion of Canada and of Akron, respectively.
One sister Jennie Devine of S. Plum Street, and two half-brothers, Frank and John Devine of the city, survive. Funeral service on Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Rev. Fr. Lawrence B. Mollman, pastor of the church, officiating, Interment in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in this city in charge of E. S. Faulkner, funeral director.
Possible One illegitimate Child-according to Paul Devine whose been wrong before. (Minnie Hayes-born out of wedlock)
Does not have a headstone.Rumor is her, John Weiland Devine, half-brother, was supposed to buy a grave marker but, did not.Reason unknown.
