Notes for NATHANIEL ADAMS:
He was a Commoner in 1664 and a Freeman of Massachusetts on May 27, 1674; his last wife was named Abigail and is probably the mother of the two youngest children. The following was written on his tombstone: Mr. Nathaniel Addams died Apr 11, 1715 in the 74th year of his age. Now hes gon to eternall rest. God wil him safely keep all though hes buried in y dust. In Jesus he doth sleep, o you his children that are left I pray. Let some be fund that do endeavour to make good your forgon, leaders ground grave saint behind that cannot find thy, old, loue night, nor morn. Pray look a boue, for there your love singing with ye first born.
