Our branch of the DiBlasi tree started with Paolo from Avellino, Italy who emigrated to the United States in 1896. He moved to Philadelphia, PA where he married Leonilda Gentile. They had sixteen children who, for the most part, still live and work in the Philadelphia/south Jersey area. We have an annual family reunion picnic on the weekend following Labor Day. This year it will be held on Saturday September 8, 2007 at Laurel Acres Park in Mount Laurel, NJ. This is a free picnic starting about 1:00 PM. If you believe that you are part of our family, please drop me an email. I am always looking for more information about our ancestors and also thrilled to make contact with some new relatives! |
