Gennaro (James Peter) DiBuono of Marlboro, Mass., nephew of the subject, Nicola Barbiero, recalls that his mother, Maria Antonia (Antonietta DiBuono) Barbiero (sister of Nicola Barbiero) informed him years ago that her brother Nicola died at the age of 19 years in Ielsi, Italy. However, the Stato Civile death records for Ielsi in 1886 (the year of Nicola's birth) record the death of a baby Nicola Barbiero on 9 December [father- Gennaro Barbiero and mother - Maria Teresa DiBuono] but state the age as being 5 months.
