Don Dickenson's Home Page

Updated November 28, 2012

In order to share the genealogical research I have done on my family, I have posted various reports, trees, files and related photographs which will be replaced or updated periodically.

The "Report" section includes:

An ahnentafel report of my known ancestors through 20 generations - including several lines to Mayflower passengers (John ALDEN/Priscilla MULLINS/William & Alice MULLINS [2 lines], William BRADFORD [2 lines], William, Mary & Love BREWSTER, Peter BROWN, & Richard WARREN). The "Related Files" section describes these Mayflower lines and there are many Mayflower related photos on this web page.

A 13 generation descent report for the DICKENSON/DICKERSON/ DICKINSON family from the New Kent/Hanover/Louisa County area in Virginia. This report includes thousands of names [including over 850 DICKENSONS, over 850 DICKERSONS and over 600 DICKINSONS]. As you get farther from my direct line, the information becomes VERY tentative and is being shared as a research clue for others. The "Related Files" section also includes about 100 pages of notes on the DICKENSON/DICKERSON/DICKINSON family of England and Virginia prior to 1800.

An 11 generation descent report for Thomas BONNEY who was born about 1604 in England, died in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts and was probably the first shoemaker in the Plymouth Colony. This report includes almost 300 BONNEYS. The "Related Files" section contains some interesting Bonney family references from early Plymouth Colony records.

A 12 generation descent report for Thomas WRIGHT, an early settler of Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut. This report includes over 400 WRIGHTS.

A 9 generation descent report for the MALSAM family of Gelnhausen, Germany and Kleinliebental, Russia. This report includes over 400 MALSAMS.

The Family Trees also include:

Descendants of the CARY family of Evercreech, Somerset, England. This tree includes over 200 CARYS.

Descendants of the DUNKERTON family of West Pennard, Somerset, England. This tree includes over 250 DUNKERTONS.

Any corrections and/or additions to this information would be appreciated.
