| I am researching the Dierkes family from St. Louis, MO. Henry C. Dierkes, my great-great grandfather was born in Missouri, in 1865, His father was Clemens Dierkes, who was born in 1822,in Prussia, or Germany. Henry C. Dierkes married Katherine Scott, also from Missouri, and had eight children: Clemens H.,Mary, Herman, Elsie, Maimie, Emilie, Hilda, and Edward. I am also tracking down the Haddock family (not their name when they were in Bohemia - possibly Hartog?). My grandfather, Frank J. Haddock, was born in 1869, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He married Mary Walsh, who was born in Illinois in 1876. He was a bricklayer,and came to St. Louis to settle down and raise his family. Any information that you could share would be greatly appreciated. I have quite a bit of information that I would be willing to share, or answer any questions that might help in your geanealogical search. |
