A PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
There are distant voices calling out to me
Echoes of the past through eternity
Do you know the cost they seem to say
The price we paid for you today

They were searching for a place to worship free
In their hearts burned the hope of liberty
The blood of their brothers, their fathers and their sons
Paid the price so that freedom could be won

CHORUS
I Pledge My Allegiance to You
To myself and my family I will be true
And to my God and my country too
I pledge my allegiance to you

VERSE 2
I hear other voices calling out to me
Whispers of children that will someday be
They are waiting for their chance to come to earth
Preparing now for their birth

When we think of generations yet to be
What will we leave them as a legacy
The task of keeping freedom bright is ours today
I will remember this and proudly I will say

CHORUS

VERSE 3
The choices that I make can keep me free
Not just for today but for eternity
I’ll look beyond the moment, keep my vision clear
For soon the future will be here

We unite with the future and the past
Eternal ties that will last and last
We will remember there is more than just today
We will stand firm and proudly we will say

CHORUS
We pledge our allegiance to you
To Ourselves and our families we will be true
And to our God and our country too
We pledge our allegiance to you

Yes, we pledge our allegiance to you
