Family research on family of Mathias Diemer, who arrived in the U.S at New York on 07/24/1837 with wife Elizabeth Benk, and children; Maria age 19; Joseph 17; John 14; Mathias 12; Christina 10; and Jacob 8. Mathias's father was Johann Jakob Diemer, born, Abt. 1768 in Wattenheim, Bavaria, Rheinland Pfalz, Germany. Johann was married to Anna Maria Elisabetha Bohn. The Diemer family lived in Bavaria for over 300 years. |
