Letter from A.H. Wells to George DILLON (April 16,1860 - received April 28,1860) "Dear Brother" - bemoaning the death of brother, Elias Stone DILLON, in December 1859, in New Orleans "... away from friends, poor fellow had no home... He wrote me November last from New Orleans informing me of his sickness. Said he had been sick for almost a year with chronic diorreah, of which he died." (at 27 yrs.) ... and how few of the family is still alive. (George died 7 months later, at 50 yrs.)
