(a) (b) Kingry Cemetery, a peaceful old Lawrence Co., OH Cemetery is located in section 3 at the extreme northern boundary of Windsor Twp. It is the final resting place for members of several early Lawrence Co. families including 15-20 Dillons, including several shown at this site. All Dillons here are descendants of the Samuel James Dillon line. Samuel James Dillon(abt1751-1836) from Goochland and Franklin Cos., VA, married Chloe Farley(1765-1856). Though Samuel and Chloe never settled to Lawrence Co., their children; Squire, Rebecca, Jesse, McCager possibly a daughter, Jane Dillon, were among the first Dillons to Lawrence Co. Squire is recorded as having arrived in the late 1820s and is the only Dillon listed in the 1830 Lawrence Co. Census. Two additional children of Samuel James and Chloe Farley Dillon, Meredith and Thomas Jackson Dillon, may have passed through Lawrence Co. on their way to MO, where they settled in Benton Co.
