(b) This photo is believed to be the wedding day for John(1843-1927) and Margaret(1840-1879) taken in 1866. John had recently returned from duty in the Civil War. Soon after their wedding, John and Margaret resettled to Worth Co., MO, perhaps accompanied by Margaret's sister, Martha and brother, Isaac. Margaret died there in 1879 from complications following childbirth. She was the
seventh child of Vincent and Hannah Dillon. Margaret is believed to have been married in the Gibson Chapel, located in Scottown, Windsor Twp., Lawrence Co., OH. Margaret's father, Vincent, was a founding trustee of this Chapel or Methodist Episcopalian Church, which is still in regular use.
