(a) Cincinnatis was the son of Samuel Jackson Dillon(1830-1913), grandson of Thomas Jackson Dillon(1799-1855) and ggrandson of Samuel James Dillon from Virginia. He married Melvina Sweargin in 1904. To this couple were born nine children. Cincinnatis "was a horse trader and trapper for many years." Like so many of his generation, Cincinnatis was known to be capable of "weaving a tale from nothing".
"He loved to play practical jokes on people." This photo most probably was taken at his Missouri home.(photo courtesy of Nadine & John Hielscher at: firstname.lastname@example.org)
