(a) (b) Vincent F. Dillon and Nettie Zimmerman Dillon were married September 5, 1895, possibly in this Chapel here in La Belle. Their marriage certificate lists La Belle as their location. Their first
known home was located a couple of miles to the east of this location, off Rte 7.(This home is also at this site.) The Old Rome Methodist Cemetery can be see to the left of the Chapel. Witnesses to this ceremony were William Adolphus Dillon, brother of the groom and John Zimmerman, stepfather of the bride. Both William and John are also at this site.
