(a) This photo of Georgia (Georgie) Dillon (1890-1970) with her husband, Robert Mitchell Nicol, Jr.(1896-1975), was taken in the back yard of their Dayton, Ohio home. This location was on S. Dixie Dr. It is now the home of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Georgie was the daughter of Jesse Dillon (1853-1928) and Olivia Rhanor (1854-1911) and the granddaughter of Creed C. Dillon and Abigail Rebecca Smith. This Dillon line traced further to Squire(brother of McCager Dillon), and to Samuel James Dillon of Goochland and Franklin Counties, Virginia. Georgie was born in Lawrence Co., OH. She and Robert were the parents of Marie Nicol (1911-1991) and Otis Franklin (1921-1978). Robert was born in Inverurie, Scotland.
