(b) Abraham's gravestone reads "Sep. 7. 1827, AGED 77 yrs 6 mon". Abraham served as Mary Vactor's bondsman for
her wedding and marriage in 1779 to Peter Dillon Sr, also shown at this site. Abraham's wife was Idah Voorhees,
perhaps a relative or family friend to Mary Vactor. Both ladies were of Dutch descent. These families in lived the
Franklin Park region of New Jersey at the time of Peter's and Mary's wedding in 1779. Abraham Simonson and family
later resettled to Indiana, the site of his gravestone in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Franklin County, IN.
