(b) Here pictured are Jacob Henry Dillon with wife, Fannie E. Hartman and sons, Fred E. and Clarence W. Dillon in a photo believed to have been taken about 1900, perhaps at their residence in or near Red Cloud, Webster Co., Nebraska, located near the Kansas line. It seems Jacob and his family later moved a short distance to the south and west to Webster in Rooks Co., Kansas. Jacob was the son of Elwood Dillon(1836-1927) and Sarah Baker Dillon, and the grandson of Hugh Dillon(abt1810-abt1895) and Catherine Schultz, whose extended family is profiled elsewhere at this site. Jacob Henry, it seems, may have been named after two uncles, both Civil War veterans.
