(b) Austin Dillon(1914-1977) and wife, Edith are buried here in the Stockton, Rooks Co., Kansas, Cemetery. Austin was born and raised in the this region of north central Kansas, the fourth generation of his line to be represented in this cemetery. Austin is the seventh generation of his Dillon/Dillin line in the U. S. His line extends back to Fred E. (his father), then Jacob Henry, Elwood, Hugh, John, to Peter Dillon Sr., the first of his Dillon to be in this country. Many of these generations and are represented and profiled elsewhere at this site, and the DILLON FAMILY PHOTOS and DILLON KINDRED sites. Austin and Edith had the following children: Loren, Marilyn, Pat and Pam (twins) and Mitch, all representing the 8th generation of this Dillon line described at this site.
