(b) We are greatly indebted to Sherm Dillon for his Dillon family research and
availability of information. The son of Isaac Dillon, grandson of Vincent Dillon,
Sr., and Hannah Jackson, though born in Worth Co., Missouri, his roots trace
back to Lawrence Co., Ohio. He is profiled extensive throughout this site.
His accumulation of family information is an integral part of
the Dillon family history currently being compiled. The reverse side of the left
photo states, "J. W. S. Dillon - Salvation Army." The reverse side of the photo
on the right reads, "J. W. S. Dillon - Jan. 1896 - Reserved." These photos were
recently located in the possession of the Dunfee family, of Worth Co., Missouri.
Sherm's Aunt Martha Dillon had married Isaac Dunfee in Lawrence Co., Ohio,
in 1866. These Dunfees connect to many of the Dunfees still residing in
