  • Maxcine Lampton Dillon (68 KB)
    Maxcine Lampton (Mama Dillon) was born 23 July 1895 in Pike County, Mississippi to parents Charlie and Elizabeth Lampton. She was the first of eleven children born to the couple. On 26 November 1915 Maxcine married Wallace C. Dillon in Magnolia, Mississippi. She and Wallace were the parents of eight children, three daughters and four sons. Maxcine died on 30 November 1982, while living in Beartown, Pike County, Mississippi. She is buried in Dinah #2 Cemetery in McComb, Mississippi.
  • Frances Simpson (50 KB)
    Frances Simpson was born 16 October 1865 in Clarke County, Mississippi to parents George and Ollie Simpson. Nothing is currently known about brothers or sisters (if any). She joined in wedlock to Frank McGruder. They lived their entire lives as farmers in Clarke County. Frances and Frank were the parents of seven children, four girls and three boys. Frances died on 26 July 1956 and was buried in New Fellowship Cemetery, Enterprise, Mississippi.

    Frank McGruder was the son of Lucy McGruder. He was reared in either Jasper or Clarke County, Mississippi. He enjoyed the companionship of four brothers and two sisters. He joined in wedlock to Frances Simpson at an unknown date. Frank and Frances were the parents of seven children, four girls and three boys. Frank was known as the best veterinarian in the area and traveled extensively throughout Mississippi and Alabama attending sick animals. Frank's date of death and burial site are currently unknown.
  • Wallace C. Dillon (71 KB)
    Wallace C. Dillon was born 22 June 1894 in Magnolia, Pike County, Mississippi to parents Angeline Vaughn and Thomas Jefferson Dillon. He was the eighth of thirteen children, five girls and eight boys. In 1915 he married Maxcine Lampton. Wallace died on 19 May 1948 and was buried in Dinah #2 Cemetery in McComb, Mississippi
