Translation:
In the Christian year 1854, on the 8th Of October, at 5 o'clock in the morning, died the local bricklayer Johann Adam Melck, old-26 years less 20 days, and on the 10th of October, in the morning at 10 o'clock, he was solemnly put to earth, according to Christian customs in the presence of the two local citizens:
