Ben & Oma raised several orphaned or abandoned children including Cora Dell Addison and Cora's children Mary and Lillie Franklin. Ben was born 1854 to Ira Wise & Katherin Howerton. Oma was born 1852 to Joseph Hall & Phoebe Holland. Ben & Oma are buried in the Newbold Cemetery near New Burnside IL. The child in the photo is probably Cora Dell Addison.
