The journey to America for the DiVincent family began in 1907 when Salvatore DiVincenzo sailed to the United States from Naples, Italy, passed through Ellis Island, and settled in Guttenberg, New Jersey. His wife, Josephine and son Arthur (age 3 ) came the following year in 1908. Salvatore and Josephine had a total of seven children, five boys and two girls. The DiVincenzo family was originally from Santa Dominica Victoria, Sicily. Here is their story. Family is the most important thing and all generations are curious as to where they have come from and where everyone is now. We have tried to put together the most accurate account of the DiVincent family in America by talking to as many family members as possible and by writing to family members across the country. We still are missing some pieces to our family puzzle and need the help of everyone to complete it. As time goes by it becomes more and more difficult to get information on family members and we would like to include everyone.
