The journey to America for the DiVincent family began in 1907 when Salvatore DiVincenzo sailed to the United States from Naples, Italy, passed through Ellis Island, and settled in Guttenberg, New Jersey. His wife, Josephine and son Arthur (age 3 ) came the following year in 1908. Salvatore and Josephine had a total of seven children, five boys and two girls. The DiVincenzo family was originally from Santa Dominica Victoria, Sicily. Here is their story. |
