| Dear Pechers and relatives! Hello! Dobry Den! Gruess Gott! Guten Tag! Bonjour! As you probably know, our anscetors came from West Bohemia (Czech Republic) and were of German origin. There are likely more than half a dozen separate lines today, going back to 1800 with Pechers in Austria, Czech Rep, Germany as well as in Australia, the USA and Canada. In addition, there are also Pechers in France and Belgium who may or may not be related to us and "Pechas", "Pechrs", "Pechars" and even "Peachers" who are likely related but this is uncertain due to illiteracy and errors in records in the 1500-1700s.
