I am researching my grandparents and ggg.grandparents. I have found the following information.
Walter Dlugoleski Born in Poland 1887 died September 16, 1958 in Taunton, Massachusetts.
A son of John and Marianne Dlugoleski from Poland.Did my grandfather Walter have other siblings?
He was married to Scholastikas (Grudzinski)Dlugoleski born February 8, 1890 in Poland and she died September 20, 1928 in Torrington,Connecticut. They also lived in EastHampton and Taunton, Massachusetts and in Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut. Walter and Scholastica(also spelled this way) had 6 children including my father John (aka) Mitchell when he was small.
George Burton Sargood was married to Jennie Minerva (Hovey) the daughter of Frank Abner Hovey and Diana (Grover) Hovey.
Diana or Dianna is the daughter of William Henry Harrison or William Henry K. Grover and Minerva Lucy Young.
Diana Minerva (Grover)Hovey born in Canada Sept. 4, 1864 Died July 27, 1952 In Hanson,Massachusetts the daughter of William Henry Harrison or William H.K. Grover from Malone, New York and Minerva Lucy Young. Minerva may have been born in Alburg, Grand Isle County, Vermont.I would like to know the name of the town that Diana was born in Canada?
Abner Hovey born 1766 in Canterbury, Connecticut and died Jan. 12, 1842 in Lyme, New Hampshire and was married to Lois Tucker in Woodstock, Ct. Daughter of Stephen Tucker and Lois Lyons of Woodstock, Ct.
Abner Bingham Hovey Born November 12, 1825 died 1877 Married March 4, 1849 Malvina Lydia or T. Bryant born August 11, 1832 died 1904 daughter of Ebenezer and Sophia Bryant. They went to Stoneham, Massachusetts.I don't know for sure where they were living before Stoneham, Massachusetts.
Samuel Hovey Born Lyme, New Hampshire March 9, 1795 died 1878 in Waupaca, Wisconsin and was married to Mary Bishop born 1798 daughter of John and Sally Kimball Bishop and or Lucy (Walker) Bishop daughter of John and Sarah (Kimball) Bishop.I would like to know of his life in Wisconsin. If he married etc.
My Hovey line traces back to the orginal immigrant Daniel Hovey of Ipswich, Massachusetts. There is also a Hovey and Cleveland connection to Benjamin Cleaveland and Moses Cleaveland.
Minerva Lucy Young is the daughter of Jacob Young and Lucy Ann Reynolds.
I found that the Grover's were also in Colton, St. Lawrence, NY in 1870 census. And in Shaftsbury, Vt. in 1880 census.I came across a Stephen Grover living next door to Minerva Young age 16 then and her parents Jacob and Lucy Young in the 1860 census of Burke,Franklin, NY.
Any additional information on any family will be greatly appreciated.
