John M. Doane family page

I am attempting to trace my family branch of the Doane name. For at least 3 generations we have lived in Indiana. My great grandfather was "Millard C. Doane" (died circa 1947) and it is thought he moved from Kentucky in the '20's. My Grandfather, "John Roscoe Doane" moved to Indianapolis from Davies County, Ind. My father, "Millard Clay Doane" (born 1929) has lived all his life in Indianapolis, Indiana. I "John Michael Doane" grew up in Indpls., and moved to Tucson, AZ in 1979. I have two sons, "Matthew Clay" (you know that "family name" thing only goes SO far! I couldn't saddle him with the name of "Millard" for mere continuity!) born 1982 and "Samuel Lucas" born 1983.
