The research and continunce of information in this family tree has been due to the indurance and persistince of Sandra Westgate. Sandra is one of the thirty-two brother and sister-in-laws I gained the day I married Lois Jean Westgate. The family was so extensive that I should have taken her name instead of Staples which was given my dad after an adoption. So I have been told. My parental Grandfather was named Doane and I have been lead to believe he was from Hobart,IN and Buried in Michigan City, In. |
