Notes for William Smith: (From England) was appended to place of birth when downloading gedcom from alternate source. Not sure if that means that his parents came to Canada while they were pregnant with him and he was born in Canada or if they were from England originally before coming to Canada. Need to do much more research about this. 1880 Census Transcription for household of William's son (John Smith) shows his parents' (William and Elizabeth) birthplaces as Scotland. This is the second discrepancy so far concerning the birthplaces of William Smith and his wife, Elizabeth. For now, leaving birthplaces as recorded but will need to research it more to disclose correct locations.
