"Clifford Dodd Takes a Bride" - Modesto [CA] Morning Herald - 16 March 1911 - "Clifford Dodd and Florence Howell were married by Rev. Edwin Brown at the Methodist parsonage Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the presence of a few friends. Mr. Dodd is the son of W. B. [William Belknap] Dodd and is the owner of the Mission Billiard Parlors. Miss Howell has been residing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. [James Van] Howell on the Salida Road. Both are well known and have many friends in Modesto and vicinity. It is understood that they took the afternoon train yesterday for San Francisco and other bay points."
