Allen McDougal (born 25 February 1860) and his elder brother William Randolph McDougal (born 17 October 1852) appear in this original tintype photo. They were the sons of Allen McDougal Sr. and Victoria Ann White of Alexander City (Youngville) Alabama. Both men began as laborers in the iron rolling mills of Alabama, and became career railroad men later in life.
