MCDOUGAL - Billy McDougal was born in Columbus, GA on 28 July 1920. He was the son of Jacob Wilbur McDougal and Edna Mae Lissenden. After D-Day, while on patrol in Normandy, France Billy was killed on 01 August 1944. He is buried in the American Cemetery at Normandy Beach in France. He was survived by his wife Elizabeth (Ivey)and his only son John Wilbur McDougal Jr. Elizabeth (Ivey)McDougal subsequently married Lawton E. Grantham, and had 4 children.
