LOFTIS-WARREN FAMILY - John Henry Warren was the husband of Louisa Emmaline Loftis. ("Emma" Loftis Warren was the daughter of James Powell Loftis and Artemicia Leak. John Henry Warren served in Company K, 11th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry of the Northern Army of Virginia, C.S.A. He was a private 1 July 1861, captured at Burkesville, Virginia on 1 April 1965, and was released at Point Lookout Maryland on 22 June 1865. Family oral tradition indicates that he walked home barefoot from the prison camp.
