The Dave Doering Family Home Page

I am researching the Doering family from Philadelphia, PA. My Great-grandfather, Elias Doering was born in Weissenstein, Bavaria, Germany in about 1848 and came to this country in June of 1870. He married Christiana Weber in 1873. My grandfather, Henry Doering was born 23 July 1876. Christiana died in 1877, and Elias returned to Germany and married Christiana Miller. They had a son Paul born in Germany in 1879, a daughter Kathryne born in Philadelphia in 1883, and a son Louis born in 1886.

I am looking for the descendents of Paul Christian Doering and his wife Mary Margaret (Keller) Doering. Their children who survived to adulthood were Timothy Doering (b. 12 May 1905), George Doering (b. 26 April 1907), Paul Miner Doering, (b. 1 June 1909), Ruth Doering (b. abt. 1914), Etta Marie (Doering) Helmer (b.10 June 1918)
