The tree starts with Mandel born 1626 in Vrbove West Slovakia.
Later the surname DOHANY was introduced, wich became DOHAN for most branches of the family.

This tree contains about 600 individuals in 14 generations with 155 different surnames. Mandels descendants live now all over the world.

Later the surname DOHANY was introduced, wich became DOHAN for most branches of the family. Already in the 19th century Dohans moved to other European areas or emigrated to other continents. Most descendants of Mandel suffered the holocaust. Many perished. This tree shows also todays youth members of this jewish ancestry. It is for them this tree is published. To see where the roots are.
