Looking for info. on Kuhlman, Kuhlmann, which were at one time Kuleman, and Wessel families coming from Germany in mid-late 1800's. Some located in Ill. then to Neb. and Okla. Heinrich Gottlieb Kulemann, born in Westenderfer-Landwehr, Ger.Aug 30, 1815, died Barrington, Ill., Sep. 3, 1871, married to Justine Wilhelmine Charolotte Ossenkoph dod June 22,1908 also in Barrington, Ill..Supposedly buried in German Luthern cemetery. Doke families were in Kentucky, around Boyle Co.. Brooks families, earliest in N.Y. later in Ks. Thank you.
