The Shaver/Shaffer Family Corner

This site is dedicated to the family history of Daniel Perry Shaver and his wife Nancy Sarah (Kelly)Shaver. We are still compiling information on all members of this very large family. We are still looking for the parents and siblings of Daniel Perry and the siblings of Nancy Sarah. Nancy's parents were James Kelly and Hannah Keeran. Hannah was the daughter of Thomas Kerran. We haven't been able to get beyond this information.

Daniel Perry and Nancy Sarah (Kelly) Shaver were both from Shenandoah County,Virginia. They lived in or around the New Market area of the county. Daniel was born in 1809 and Nancy in 1810.

We are looking forward to the building of our family tree and gaining new information. We have already met several new cousins through the research already done and are looking forward to meeting many, many more.

We are willing to share any information we have. We now have over 900 names listed on the family tree. We have contributed the information to the World Family Tree. Be looking for the information in the next few months to be posted there.
