1820 - GREEN MCCAFFERTY, came to Daviess County with his brothers, John and Thomas about 1820, along with other families from Union County, SC such as the Gregory's, Palmers, Steens. It was said that John and Thomas followed the Palmer girls Susannah and Catherine and Green just came along for the ride.
