She was the third wife of Hermann Heinrich Meiners (1821-1904). The first wife was Carolyn (maiden name unknown) Meiners (1825-1847), and the second was Agnes Kramer Meiners (1822-1868). There were no children by his first wife and four by his second: Edmund B. Meiners (1852-1919), Herman Meiners (1854-1919), Mary Meiners Burdick (1857-1933), and Henry G. Meiners (1863-1933).
