We are researching the Dorn, Carr and Cookson families. On the Dorn side a Karl Friederich August Dorn was born 26.March 1835 in Treuenbrietzen, Germany. He married Luise Emilie Fredericke Schelle and in 1865 they had one son Franz Emil Otto Dorn. We are Gerhard Artur Dorn and Eva Maria Waldt, both born and raised in Berlin, Germany. We married 1952 and immigrated in 1955 to Canada and started a new life and family. Our first daughter Christina Marian Dorn was born 16.June 1960 followed by Nancy Cathleen Dorn on 8.August 1963. Christina Marian Dorn married 14.July 1990 Douglas Levison Carr and they had two female children. They reside in New Brunswick, Canada. Nancy Cathleen Dorn married Mark John Cookson on 18.August 1984 and they too had two female children. Presently they live in Colorado, U.S.A We also find a Thomas Carr born 4.November 1804 in England and a John Cookson born 26.August 1937 in Liverpool/ England
