Bill stiles lived with a family by the name of carter. maybe his mother was a carter?? Billy stiles changed his name from stiles to Howard..maybe Bill stiles mother married a Howard, and he adopted him?? any information concerning this, would be appreciated!!

There is a story found in the Archives of Arizona, pioneers Historical Society That was taken from the Society News of Casa Grand, Az. in 1884, telling about Billy Stiles only thirteen[13] at the time, and his oldest brother Grant, fighting in their mother's house, while Charles Eastman[one of Billy, and Grants friends stole their mother's ducks...It stated that Billy was a bad Hombre- A Bandito who robbed, and killed many men during his furious career as a train and bank robber. in Arizona, Nevada and Senora, Mexico. I am quite sure that he was just a train robber..according to a article 'Heat of Arizona' Vol.2 1916 stiles died in Nevada with his boots on.Chesholm received a letter from his widow[maria cameron' to the effect, Widow was in Tonopah, Nevada..Later info. confirmed her letter[Billy] had been acting as a Deputy Sheriff, using the name William Larkin, was ambushed by a man he was going to arrest Chisham Joe Brewery Gulch' 1949 from paul L. his father's uncle Billy ..well Billy was my first cousin three times removed.
