| I am just starting to research my family history The names of interest which I have identified so far are as follows: Dorman - in the Rye area of Romney marsh Webb - in the Stepney area of London and around Dover. Bennett - in the Romney marsh area Donovan - in the Dover area Wailes - especially William Wailes of Stained Glass fame Defty / Biesterfield / Strang - Whitley Bay Northumberland I am also interested in any memoires or photographs of the Younghusband expedition to Lahasa in 1904 in which , I believe, my Grandfather took part. Any assistance would be appreciated. |
