My maternal g-gf, Camille Clot, was from St. Santin, Aveyron, France. His parents were rumored to have died in a railroad accident and he was left orphaned? Maybe had a brother? Am in posession of his passport dated 1879 to come to America. Have no further info!

My paternal g-gf, Phillip Wilhelm Reinhardt (a confectioner, by trade), came to America (NYC) in 1879 (1845-1900). His naturalization was 12 Aug 1884 (NYC). He supposedly left many siblings in Germany. How do I find out where in Germany he came from and if I still have family there? He passed away 12 Aug 1900. He married Julia Leonitine Alexandrine Nietnagle (1844-1815) in Germany (when/where?).

They had 3 children when they arrived in America: Emilie (d 1918), who married a "Sommer"; Lena (d 1943), who married Fred Keppler (1858-1928); Otto (1976-1939) married Freda Schwimner in 1907 and had 2 daughters Mildred and Vera (married a "Schraft") and had a son Robyn, now a professor at a University in NY, at least that is the info from my Uncle Wes Reinhardt in Lindenhurst.

Any info would be helpful! I am especially interested in my German roots! I would also like to know about my French and Irish backround.

My Irish g-gm, Delia "Bradley" Clot was born in Moate, Co Westmeath, Ireland. She was the youngest of 13 (so I understand) and her oldest brother, Tom, was a Station Master at Islandeady Station. He had just retired or was going to around 1922-1923. He had a son Michael who was a "father" and was in Gibralter around 1922-1923; I believe his daughter Mary was practicing to be a nun. Little other info!
